25 reviews for MobilePal Gen-2 10000 mAh Qi Wireless Power Bank with 2-in-1 Lighting, Micro-USB Cable [2A Input/1A Qi Output/Dual 2.1A USB Ports] – Black

  1. 4 out of 5

I really like the MobilePal 10000mAh charger, since I can charge my nexus 6 wireless and do not have to worry about the micro usb slot ever breaking. The cable included is great for an iphone since it can only charge 1A. The included cable also can be detached to be used as a micro usb cable. If you are going to charge your ipad, you can still use your lightning cable fine.

I Love the build quality if it, and the “painted leather”. It has a bit heavy weight, but it should not be too much if a concern.
The included iphone charger does not support data transfer by the way to keep the cost down
There are 5 leds, one dedicated only for the qi charger.

This is a premium charger for phones, since most flagships have qi charging.

  2. 5 out of 5

I usually review products based on 3 things: Product, Playability, and Pricing. This 2nd generation power bank is great. I liked the 1st gen but am a huge fan of this 2nd gen product. It’s well made and has a great leather feel backing which reduces slipping when handling. I easily charge my devices multiple times and quickly charge my Note 4 via the Qi charger. The quick charging ability is extremely beneficial and works great with my Note 4. Even after several weeks it still had enough power to fully charge my tablet and smartphone.

Playability is great as well. The device is easy to use and charging multiple devices at the same time is easy and efficient. The device is small enough and has enough power that I no longer carry multiple chargers with me. I just slip this into a coat pocket. I literally do not leave home without it.

The price is well below what one would expect. They could have easily asked another $20-$30. Use this as your main charging source and you cannot go wrong. Overall this is a great product. Best I have seen on the market so far.

The MobilePal 10,000mAh Qi Power Bank has a nice feature that is not existent on most other power banks. Not only does it have dual 2.1A USB ports, it can also charge your Qi-enabled device wirelessly as well. Just make sure your phone supports Qi wireless charging and you should be good to go.

It can charge 3 devices at the same time (two wired, one wireless) and the huge 10,000 mAh capacity should last you all day. There is an included 2 in 1 microUSB cable with lighting adapter so this charger should work with almost all phones and tablets on the market. There’s also a built in safety feature to protect against over charging or over heating.

Overall, this is a great 2 in 1 wireless and wired charging bank that works just as advertised.

  4. 5 out of 5

This thing is BIG but it looks and feels very nice.

The bezel on this is a shiny chromish color which I am not sure if it will scratch off or not but it makes the device look quite good.

If you are looking to pair this with a wireless charging case, you need to hold down the button for 3 seconds until the red light comes on to activate the wireless charging mode.

    1. This thing is quite large, it’s bigger than some of the 10000mAh battery packs I have used, but I am guessing because of the wireless charging.
    2. Yes the wireless charging does work and it is efficient.
    3. The battery pack looks expensive, but then again it does have some “cheap” feeling to it in some elements.
    4. It looks like leather but it is a hard plastic.
    5. It comes with a micro usb cable with a lightning adapter.
    6. It is a bit heavy and thick,.
    7. The battery pack charges my device at a an acceptable rate.
    8. The battery pack gives me about 3 charges with my phone, but that varies with how much I charge it.
    9. I wish there was a battery indicator on it to tell me how much in percent battery I have left.
    10. It can charge your phone while you are charging it, thus functions as a charging pad which is great.

In the end, pairs great with my wireless charging case for on the go charging.

I got this for free, but as you can see my review is honest and unbiased.

  5. 5 out of 5

I will try to say to most important things for this amazing power bank.
Unboxing the item was very easy and pleasant. In the box you can find the Power Bank, a micro usb cable + Apple Lightning adapter and the user manual. Once you grab the Power Bank what you will notice how solid the product is. It is a little bit on the heavy side but after all you are getting a 10,000mAh power bank which has two USB output ports that push 2.1A at the same time and the coolest feature ever the QI charging. The efficiency of the charging is approx. 70% which is considered pretty good ! This means you can charge a phone with 2500mAh batery almost 3 times. I attached an Ipad 2 + an iPhone 4S + Galaxy S6 on the device and it did not effect my charging speeds. What I liked the most about this Power Bank is how fast it can charge using wired connection. My original Galaxy S6 charger will charge my phone from 30% to 100% in 1hr and 7mins and the Power Bank will charge it for 1hr and 13mins??? That is just great !!!
Before having this Power Bank I had a cheap QI charger that I ordered and at that time I was worried if it will charge through a case. Yes it does no issues at all. So I knew that this high quality Power Bank will have no issues as well. I did a small test to see what will be the maximum charging distance between the pad and the phone with a case. It turns out it is almost 10mm ! That doesn’t really change anything besides that they have some strong coils in the bank which is great !
If your using the QI charger your phone doesn’t have to be perfectly aligned( you can see that in the picture).
The USB cord that came with the Power Bank is pretty short but I don’t think that will be an issue for most people since the device you are charging and the pad are pretty close to each other. It has the lightning adapter which snaps easily on the micro usb port and stays very firm.

If you are not in the market for a Power Bank and just for the QI charger that will set on your night stand you may want to consider getting the MobilePal since it will do both !

So my thoughts for the MobilePal gen 2 10000mAh Power Bank are that it is really a good solid product that will surprise you a lot. It was beyond my expectations.

This Product is Amazing. I love how there is leather on it, i feel very comfortable holding it and placing it on the table, it has a nice grip! The product itself works great! There are 2 2.1a usb outputs. It Charged my iphone 6 from 40% to 100% then 10% to 70% and i still had some juice left on the power bank. Also its a truely wireless Qi charger. Other products say they are wireless Qi, but yet they have a cable connected from the wall to the charger it self. I would definetly recommend you get this, it is an amazing product

Now a days phones getting smarter. So, they need larger batteries, but unfortunately manufacturers aren’t making them. They are making thinner and thinner with the phone. Fortunately companies like MobilePal are making products like the MobilePal Gen-2 10000mAh Qi Wireless Power Bank with 2-in-1 Lighting + Micro-USB Cable external battery pack charger in order to charge devices wirelessly or by USB. Choice is yours…

Inside the package is the wireless charger/external battery, a 2-in-1 Lighting + Micro-USB Cable (1st of its kind I saw) and the user manual. This is the first wireless charger with an external battery pack that I am using. I really like the combination for when you are at home or on the go. This is a really unique device to use wherever you go.

The included 2-in-1 Lighting + Micro-USB Cable is long enough. The gauge of the wire isn’t thick or thin, which is able to bare normal wear and tear. The battery includes the micro USB charging interface which is a very common cord and easily available if required.

The MobilePal Gen-2 is small (6 x 2.8 x 0.6 inches (LWH)) and light (9.28 ounces). It’s basically the size of a large phone. The model I have is covered in high end material (Black leatherette) that prevents any possible fingerprints showing up on the device. On the top face is the MobilePal logo with wireless charging symbol. The battery also include ring shaped non-slip ring pad. That help to keep your device in place while charging.

On the front top right corner has 5 LEDs (here’s what they indicate):

In Qi charging mode: Red Led blinking

when you are charging external battery:
    One blue LED = 25%
    Two blue LED = 50%
    Three blue LED = 75%
    Four blue LED = 100%

Wired device charging: Red light will be solid.

On the top is the micro USB port to charge the external battery (requires input of 5V/2A), a USB port to charge any device (two 2.1A max o/p), and a button to indicate the charge of the external battery. Charging this device is very simple. Simply connect the micro USB into the micro USB port of the wireless charger, and the USB into a computer.

I recommend this device to anyone who is looking for an external battery with wireless charger. This is a very unique device that can be used at home or on the go.
    Pros:
    – Wireless charger is very fast.
    – You can charge battery pack while wireless charger is charging.
    – LED indicators that tell you when the battery is low or fully charged.
    – Slip resistant top for Qi charging.
    – Lightweight and compact.
    – Choice of two colors (White or black)

    Cons:
    – Larger devices block the LEDs for indicating external battery charge.

I was provided this product on discounted price for an honest and unbiased review.

  8. 5 out of 5

I was given this item to test and provide my unbiased opinion.

    What’s in the box:
    – MobilePal Gen-2 10000mAh Qi Wireless Power Bank
    – 2 in 1 Micro USB charging cable with lightening adapter
    – Manual

Following are my views for the MobilePal Power Bank.

    Pros:
    1. This is a good capacity battery. 10,000mAh is a nice add-on for a short trip.
    2. MobilePal has give a deep through on which wire needs to be provided. In today’s world the 2 most popular phones have micro USB and a lightening charging connectors which are provided with the package.
    3. The best part is this is a wireless charging battery. Its got an separate orange LED which indicates if your battery is in wireless charging mode.
    4. If you place your phone which does not support the wireless charging capable then the orange LED light flashes red which indicates that your phone is detected but it cannot charge. (this is a neat feature)
    5. I could see that the power from the battery does not drain if not used for few days. I tested it with 4 days break and the lights indicated the same power level where i left it.
    6. Its got a fine leather finish but its plastic. So no issues of damage due to water on table.
    7. The wireless charging capability is one of the best features.
    8. Fair price and good value.

    Cons:
    1. The battery top is a bit slippery and the phone slides from the top of the battery if the table on which it stands shakes.
    2. They should have provide a cover for this as this is a conducting device (wireless charging device). As you usually plan to carry this in your pocket.

I think this is a good buy and great travel accessory.

  9. 5 out of 5

This is an awesome portable battery with wireless charging capabilities for phone that are Qi enabled. At 10,000mAh this is a high capacity, professional looking battery. It comes with a cable that can be used with iPhone 5 and up as well as with micro usb port phones. There is also a rubber ring included that keeps your phone in place while charging wirelessly on top of the battery. At first glance this battery charger is about te size legnth wise as the iPhone 6… This is perfect for charging your cell phone wirelessly as well as with the included dual head cable. The charger last about 3-4 charges for iPhone 6 and can be fully charged within 2 hours. The battery charger has two usb 2.1 ports for dual charging, and one micro usb port to charge the battery itself. This is a great battery for traveling of just having it with you at work just incase 🙂

Before I start my review, I just want to mention that I didn’t pay for this unit. I’ve been offerred this as a review unit and I’m going to put my honest review here, highlighting the good and the bad. Since we’re clear with that lets start.

No, I’m not new to PowerBanks, I’ve had several other powerbanks before and I currently own 4 different ones. However, what made this one catch my eye was its QI Wireless charging capability backed by a 10,000 mAh battery. Since I bought a Galaxy S6 Edge+ with built in wireless charging, I had to get my hands on this one. And just so that we are on same page, I got the MobilePal Gen-2 10000mAh Qi Wireless Power Bank, not the Gen-1 (don’t know what’s new though).

Like most of my reviews, I’ll split this up in following four categories and go through each of them, one at a time:-

    – Boxing & Contents
    – Build Quality & Design
    – Functionality & Performance
    – Pros & Cons

    Boxing & Contents
Not much to say here, it comes sealed up in a regular cardboard box printed with all of it’s specifications on it. The box highlights quite a few features of this unit which you may or may not want to read.[Check the uploaded images].

On opening, you can atleast expect the following items inside:-
    – MobilePal QI Wireless Powerbank
    – 1 x 2-in-1 Charging cable (Micro USB & MFi Certified Apple Lightning port)
    – 1 Anti-Slip Mat
    – User Manual

One thing to notice here is, only 1 USB cable (although 2-in-1) is provided in box even though it has 2 USB Outputs. That’s pretty much it in this one. Heading to the next section.

    Build Quality & Design

As soon as you pick this unit up, you would notice its weight. At 263 grams (9.3 oz), this unit is a bit bulkier but it feels very solid and nicely made. The top and bottom surfaces have this nice stiched faux leather texture (made of plastic) with metallic side frame. It’got 5 LED indicators on top surface, a power button on left edge and 2 USB output / 1 micro USB input on top edge. The 2-in-1 USB Cable provided is of descent quality and doesn’t feel cheap like many USB cables that come with other power banks. The inclusion of Apple Lighning port is very handy and one of the big plus about this unit.

Since wireless charging works on induction, plastic would be the most appropriate choice to be used for the surface. And this makes the surface of this unit a bit slippery too even with the textured surface. Specially if you have a phone with a glass back, you might want to use the in-box anti-slip mat provided. I didn’t have this problem since I use a well textured SGP case which sits very nicely on top of it, although I probably wouldn’t have used the anti-slip mat either way, the powerbank wouldn’t look that good if I did. Overall, I personally have no complains with its aesthetics and this product looks and feels really good on the desk. Accepted that it weights quite a bit, but given the 10,000 mAh battery, it’s not much different from any other 10,000 mAh battery available in the market. Check out the uploaded images for a better judgement.

    Functionality & Performance

Perhaps, this is the most important section for most of us, so I’ve taken my time to review the unit (2 weeks) before I started jotting down this review. The
MobilePal Gen-2 10000mAh Qi Wireless Power Bank boasts about its 2 x USB output powered at 5V/2.1A and 5V/1A Wireless Charging capability. Specification also
states that both the output ports carry Smart Charging which means, the powerbank would detect the connected device and the output power would be set
according to the maximum input the connected device can handle. To test these specifications, I’ve used the following phones:-
    – iPhone 6 Plus
    – Galaxy S6 Edge+
    – Nexus 4
    – Asus Zenwatch (To Verify Smart Charging)

The unit has 5 LEDs, 4 of which are blue and denotes 25% of the battery status each. So, if you have 2 LEDs on, you can safely assume that the battery pack
is still holding around 50% of the total capacity. 1 Red LED denotes if the wireless charging mode is ON or OFF.

You would need to know only the following instructions to be able to use the power bank:-

    1. To check the power left, press the power button once and Blue LEDs will glow (If wireless mode is on, RED will glow too)
    2. To start the cable charging, just connect the device and press the power button once. While charging, the LEDs will remain turned ON
    3. The Power Bank supports two charging modes, [USB] and [USB + Wireless]. To switch between the modes, keep the power button pressed for 3 seconds while the charging unit is turned ON.
    4. Connect any micro USB Cable in the micro USB input on top edge to charge this Power Bank with a wall adapter (highly recommended) or from your PC/Notebook.
    5. Connect any micro USB / Lightning Port Cable to its regular USB output on top edge to charge your USB devices

Following the instructions manual, first thing that I did was charge this unit to full before it’s first use. It took almost 3-4 hours to charge it from 2 LED glowing (around 50%) to full using a 5V/2A adapter. Ideally speaking a 10,000 mAh should take 5 hours from 0% – 100% charging using a 2A adapter, but we don’t live in an ideal world so its acceptable to me. Mostly because I just leave it on at night and disconnect it in the morning at its full power.

Next, I connected my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ via USB and used a USB amp meter to check the current drawn. Even though it says that the output is 5V/2.1A, my s6 Edge+ could only draw upto 5V/1.76A and this is when the power bank is full charged. Now, S6 Edge+ is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and when I connected my phone, it had 20% battery left. So basically, the challenge for it was to charge 80% of 3000 mAh which is about 2400 mAh. It took almost 90 minutes to complete that challenge which is approximately what it should be taking at the rate of 5V/1.76A (ideally it should have been 82 minutes). I won’t say I’m highly dissapointed here since 90 minutes ain’t that bad for a power bank to bring a phablet from 20% – 100%.

The real dissapointment came when I connected my iPhone 6 Plus to the other USB Port simultanously. The USB Amp meter reading of the current drawn by S6 Edge+ (on other port) dropped to 5V/0.93A. I tried disconnecting the iPhone and the current reading went upto 5V/1.76A again. Trying vice versa, when I checked the current drawn by an iPhone, while S6 Edge+ is still connected to other port, the reading was 4.88V/0.94A and once I disconnected the S6 Edge+, the reading went upto 5.12V/0.99A. Similarly, when I connected a Nexus 4 along with the S6 Edge+, the Edge+ tends to draw power at 4.88V/1.22A. Unless my review unit is defective, it looks like charging multiple devices at once is affecting the output of each port. It is very much likely that the user will use 2-ports quite often to charge multiple devices simultanously and that is why, this was a big bummer. And frankly, this is the biggest negative factor that I’ll consider while rating the product. I definitely saw fluctuations in other multi-port power banks on parallel charging, but not upto this extent. One good thing among all this is, even after 2 consecutive charging from 20% – 100%, the third charging rate wasn’t any different from the first two charges which gives a vague idea that the power output isn’t falling off all that much with decrease in charge which I’ve seen in my past Power Banks.

Coming to the unique feature of this unit, the wireless charging works pretty well. The charging is definitely slower than USB Charging but it took almost same time as any non-oem wireless charging pad. I got from 22% – 100% in about 3 hours charge time which roughly comes to around 0.78A charging rate while being left with 2 Blue LEDs glowing. I’m still happy with it as long as I can keep it on my desk and I can just place my phone on top of it to start the charging, all wirefree. I was able to charge my phone twice easily while on wireless mode although I didn’t try the third time (1 LED was blinking after 2 charges). If you’re worried about the case, it is important to mention that wireless charging worked fine with my SGP Neo Hybrid Case and another cheaper TPU Case.

To verify the Smart Charge feature of the unit, I connected my Asus ZenWatch and the current drawn was just 5V/0.20A which is exactly what it draws with its OEM charger. So, the Smart Charge isn’t just a marketing gimmick afterall and this Power Bank is safe with any of the USB chargeable devices.

The Power Bank also features auto-off system. So if no device is detected to be charging within 100 seconds of turning it, the Power Bank shuts itself off which is a nice feature to have.

About the battery life, I was able to charge my device S6 Edge+ twice from 20% – 100% and once from 19% – 91%. Simple maths would tell that the efficiency of the battery is 6960 mAh, which is approximately 70% of the battery size. Please note that these readings were taken while charging only 1 device through USB Cable and Wireless Charging mode was disabled. The efficiency would have probably drop further if I had been charging wirelessly.

One of the coolest feature of this Power Bank is, it can be used with wires or wirelessly even if while the Power Bank itself is charging. In other words, it can replace a desktop charger (with 2 USB Outputs) and a Wireless Charging Pad simultanously and, whenever required, it can just be popped out and taken along for on-the-go charging.

While reviewing the unit, I also went through some of the negative reviews on Amazon so as to focus my review on those particular points too, but I didn’t find most of them with my unit. Like the Power Bank didn’t make any high pitched noise, the wireless charging feature didn’t turn on/off frequently or the battery didn’t die early as mentioned by any user. So, I’m assuming they either received the defective units or these were the problems with MobilePal Gen-1 QI Power Bank but definitely not with my unit.

    Pros & Cons

    Pros:-
    – Wireless Charging
    – Good Build Quality & aesthetics
    – Big Battery Size
    – Can be used as desktop charger
    – Can be used as QI Pad
    – 3 simultanous charging output
    – Smart Charging
    – 2-in-1 USB Cable

    Cons:-
    – Power fluctuation while parallel charging
    – Lower output than mentioned
    – 1 in-box USB Cable

Overall, if you’re looking for a high capacity Power Bank with Wireless Charging capability, currently this is the best product you can get. Backed by 1 Year warranty and MobilePal Quality assurance, you really have nothing much to worry about.

This is the first portable charger I can say does the most I’ve seen in one. I charge my iPhone 6s and Note 5 and my Moto 360 all at one time. This is the only power bank i have that has 10,000 mah and qi enabled. Some other qi enable pads dont even charge my moto 360 but this one did perfectly. The size is rather thick but not as heavy as it looks. I was provided a review sample for a honest review through the MobilePal VIPRe program and this is my all time favorite power bank of all time.

Excellent power bank with a premium build!
    ———————————–

The MobilePal Gen-2 10000mAh Qi Wireless Power Bank (Black) is definitely one of the most interesting portable power bricks that I have owned. After using it for some time now, here are some pros & cons:

    Pros:
    – Premium faux leather exterior. Gives the product an excellent finish. Has held up pretty good with moderate to rough usage.
    – The 2in1 lightning connector / micro-usb data cable is an excellent accessory to have on its own!
    – The rubber-grip sticker is surprisingly effective in keeping the device from moving during wireless charging.
    – The led lights are really convenient in planning out when a recharge is necessary (unlike some other power banks that don’t have them)
    – Can charge upto 3 devices at a time ( 2 usb outputs + wireless charging).
    – Intelligently knows when to bypass the input power and not overcharge itself when being used as a regular desktop wireless charging pad.
    – Multiple modes (wireless charging, usb, wireless charging + usb) accessible via power button help to conserve power.

    Cons:
    – The location of the led lights on the top left is such that it is often easily covered by the phone’s body during wireless charging.

    Disclaimer:
I received a sample through the MobilePal VIPRe program for a fair and impartial review.

It’s a charging brick, you’ve seen these before.

    But…

    This one has wireless charging!
I use this at my office as my wireless charging pad for my phone (S6 Edge), afterwards I have a long train ride home which I then use this device as my charging brick when I’m on the train (for those long CoC games & catching up on TV). Does everything I need it to!

    Pro’s:
    • Wireless charging & regular charging! Just a tad more expensive than a basic charging pad, but it does both!
    • Nice finish on the device, the faux leathery finish, good for gripping
    • Can turn on/off the wireless charging or regular charging
    • Combo cable for both iPhones & Android
    • Can charge my devices 3x before needing a recharge

    Con’s
    • Wireless charging spot can be finicky, you need to be exactly on the charge point

Wonderful charger. SO easy to use. Very durable casing. It has like a leather feel on the top and bottom. Its very attractive looking. My husbands phone set up great with it and starting charging right away. Very easy to charge it back up. Comes with everything you need to recharge it. Really a awesome product. So excited to use it all the time.

I am an avid fan of portable battery chargers and have many ranging from a wide variety of brands with different cosmetic differences. The most common is the aluminum body. However, MobilePal sets itself a part in this department by having a faux type leather on the exterior body of the power bank. The power bank itself is rated at 10,000mAh. This product definitely performs up to par and comparative to my other power banks, with the exception of one special little increased addition, which I will highlight a little later.

I used the product to test on my iPad Mini 2 Retina, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPhone 6s. The iPhone 6 Plus has a rating of 2910 mAh, iPad Mini 2 at roughly 6000mAh, and the iPhone 6s at 1710 mAh. For the iPhone 6s, I was able to get about 5 full charges. It took about 1.5-2 hours for me to recharge my device from about empty. For the iPhone 6 Plus, I was able to get 3 full charges, and it took nearly 3 hours for me to recharge my device from almost empty. The iPad Mini 2 Retina would be able to charge over one full charge, and the rate of charge was comparable to the OEM outlet charger.

I have invested in other QI wireless devices in the past, such as the Note 4 and the Tylt (specifically for its unique design). But I never thought that QI wireless devices existed on the go. This power bank combines the two most wanted features in a power bank and as an accessory to your smartphone. You can use the power bank to charge normally through a lightning or micro usb cable or if you have the QI wireless technology built in or a receiver case, then you will be able to place your phone on top of the power bank with no messy and forgetful wires and achieve a charge.

The product comes packaged well and includes a micro usb dual lightning (MFI certified) cable all built into one (that is durable and appears to be wrinkle resistant), so that you only have to carry around one cable rather than several. This is a convenience factor that I appreciate especially, since I have found myself in multiple occasions, where I left my charging cables at home, and was left to watch my battery drain with no alternative battery source. The MFI certified might not seem significant, but I have received gifts from other friends that had extra cables that they bought through an affordable supplier. However, after the implementation of iOS 7.0, it requires you to only used certified Apple approved lightning cables, so therefore the non-OEM models may not all work correctly. I’m glad that MobilePal cares about their quality, making sure everything is up to date (software and hardware) and very modernly built.

Although, the device may seem heavier than most portable chargers, I think its comparable to any other power banks that I own that are 10,000mAh or more. The non-slip exterior casing makes the power bank seem more like a premium product that is stylish and elegant. The LED indicators are on the top and it has already come pre-charged to 50% at least. There is also an anti-slip mat that comes included in the box in case you have a slippery back case, so that you don’t have to worry about your phone falling off the charger especially if you are like most people, leave it charging and forget about it until it’s fully charged. The addition of the anti-slip mat is a very considerate inclusion.

The power bank has 2 USB outputs rated at 5V/2.1A and 5V/1A, which is wireless compliant. The device has a smart feature built in, where it will detect the optimum speed of your phone and be able to support rapid charging if it’s supported. The reason that there are 5 LED lights as opposed to 4 is because one light is meant to signify the wireless charging functionality. A glowing red LED light means that the wireless capability is fully functional. You actually have the option to turn of the wireless charging functionality of the device by holding down the power button after pressing it down once before. To charge the power bank from empty, it took me about 6-7 hours give or take, which is not too bad considering that the power bank houses 10,000mAh. Although, most power banks are rated with a certain mAh, they normally maintain a 60-70 efficiency rate, which was evident with the output of this device after draining the battery from the power bank. I was able to get about 7,000mAh out of it efficiency through a charging cable.

I noticed that the rate of speed of charging actually dropped when I plugged in multiple devices to the power bank, specifically the iPhone 6s and 6 Plus. Although, this is an ok trade-off to me, because I usually charge my devices overnight, so the rate of speed won’t matter to me unless I was especially on a timely schedule and needed my device at full if I was going to be out of the house all day. In that instance, I would probably prioritize my charging accordingly.

I have an off-brand wireless receiver for my iPhone 6s and was able to test the charging for the wireless capabilities. I noticed that when on my Tylt and/or the power bank, it took about the same time to charge my device to full from empty, nearly 4 hours. This is a bit slower than outlet OEM charging, however, I like that you don’t have to worry about cluttering your space with all these charging cables, rather wireless support gives you a more cleaner space to work with.

Like many other MobilePal products and from the more reputable brands, they guarantee safety measures integrated into the product, such as resistance to overheating, overcharging and short-circuiting. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and its wireless charging capabilities. Dual-function or multi-function products are the wave of the feature and eventually they will dominate the market. MobilePal is keen to this and have implemented a power bank with extra functions. As such, I would definitely recommend this to friends and family especially with the newer smartphones that have wireless QI built into the phone.

I am IN LOVE with this product. Thanks again to mobilepal for allowing me to try out one of their many amazing products to test out in exchange for my honest opinion. I use this with a QI adapter case I have for my iPhone 6 and am also able to charge my iPad at the same time. Packing 10000mAh you could recharge your phone alone 3x over, as I have. I appreciate the sleek design. It maintains a small size, compared to its competitors, at quite a fair price.

I had bought this for my nexus 5 as power bank and mainly for wireless charging because the usb charging port was bit loose which i saw is common in many phones when use it for long time which makes wireless charging awesome!!!
I regularly go for outdoor/long trips and having a power bank is very useful as the charging with car usb port is very slow and mobipal is awesome since you can charge 3 phone at a time(2 usb+ 1 wireless).
    Pros:
    1) One cable through which you can connect to both apple and android device.
    2) Fast WIRELESS CHARGING.
    Cons:
    1) recharging the power bank is a bit slow.

I like this power bank because it gets the job done. All i have to do is charge it for a couple hours and then when I am out and my electronic device dies i can easily recharge it with the power bank. When my phone was on 20% i charged it and it took about an hour and a half to charge it to 100%. I was also able to charge my tablet to 100%. Overall this is a really good power bank and i would recommend it to others. I received a sample through the MobilePal VIPRe program for a fair and impartial review.

This portable power bank by MobilePal is one of the best-looking portable chargers I had the opportunity to review. It has two 2.1A usb slots and Qi Wireless charging. How many other portable chargers out there has Qi wireless charging?!?! Not only that, the power bank is so elegantly design, looks very similar to the Galaxy Note 4 which is not a bad look at all. The leather-like front and back and the metal finish on the sides makes the power bank very easy on the eye and feels so high end in the hand. This is the kind of power bank that you won’t be embarrass to use in public. I had tested the device on the Galaxy S6 Edge and Note 5 which both supports Qi wireless charging and I also tested it on the iPhone6 because it has a built in lighting port on the usb cable. What is really nice about this device is that you can charge your Note 5, Apple Ipad, and another device all at the same time. The 10000mah battery will charge and recharge your devices several times until the battery itself needs to be recharge. I think having Qi wireless charging kind of future-proof this portable charger. Newer high end smartphone will all soon support wireless charging and this charger from MobilePal is all ready and a step ahead of the whole portable charging market!

This smart battery rolls an external battery and a Qi charging pad into one. Note that you need a Qi enabled device. This would be any device/phone that already has a Qi charging feature built in or a device that you can add a Qi receiver to.

    Features:
-2 USB ports which can charge at 2.1 Amp each
-single coil Qi charging plate that can charge your Qi enabled device at a 5v 1Amp max
-The battery itself can be charged at 5V 2 Amps which translates to quick turn around
-Offer a total capacity of 10000 mAh
-Offer a USB cable which is both miro USB and lightning port capable.

Operation is fairy straightforward. The manufacturer offers an ON/OFF switch for the battery which is used not only to turn on power to the USB ports but also control the Qi pad separately. quick press show the battery level as well as turns on the USB ports for charge.
Long press turn on the Qi pad (RED LED) and another long press turn is OFF.

In my test the pad charged my iPhone (with Qi receiver fitted) without issues. Also the included USB cable worked with my iOS devices without issue. Note that the USB port adjusts to your device’s charging needs
Note that this product was provided to me by the manufacturer at a promotional price for product testing purposes. The review posted by me reflect my own unbiased impression during the test.

Great charger and battery pack in one! I use it on my work desk with my Samsung S6 Edge+ and its work great! No need of any cables or adaptors just place it on pad and you all set. You can also take it with you and use it as battery backup using wireless charging or traditional cable charging. It has LED’s which indicates battery lever so you know how much power is left. You can even charge 2 devices same time since there is 2 USB ports. Took it for camping once and charged my and my friends phones without any problems. I love it.

Great charger and battery pack. No need of any cables or adaptors just place it on pad and see the Qi in action. Other things I like most are the convenience to charge 2 devices same time and Leds indicating the juice left.
The disadvantage is the wireless charging looks slow, as I use the Turbocharger.

Q: Will your qi wireless charger battery pack charge my s6 with an otterbox defender case on it? John
— Asked by John Corn on April 26, 2015
A: Yes, wireless charging can charge through most phone cases, including those made of plastic, silicone, TPU, etc., given that your phone is equipped with a Qi wireless receiver. Qi wireless charging uses inductive electrical power transfer, and it can charge well for a distance up to about 1cm (0.4in), which is far greater than the thickness of virtually all phone cases. However, it may not charge through battery charger cases that have a built-in lithium-ion battery.
